Brian Kuscher completed his ninth season as head tennis coach and PERA Associate Professor of the Practice in 2016-17. In the past nine seasons, he has led Wellesley to an overall record of 130-72, winning NEWMAC Championships in 2008 and 2011 and making appearances in the NCAA Tournament in 2009 and 2012.
Prior to his stint at Dartmouth, Kuscher served as the assistant director of New England Team Tennis (NETT) for six years. He also served as head tennis professional at the Quechee Club in Vermont and as the assistant tennis professional at the Boss Tennis Center at Dartmouth College.
As a student-athlete at Franklin Pierce, Kuscher accumulated more than 100 wins during his career and was named the New England Collegiate Conference Rookie of the Year for the 1997-98 season.
Kuscher has also previously served on the NCAA Division III Tennis Regional Committee. He received his Master of Arts in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University, Irvine. He resides in Wellesley with his wife, Yumi, and their two children.
