Wellesley College Athletics

Carter Bartram was named as one of Wellesley College's Assistant Fencing Coaches in 2022. 

Bartram joins the Blue after a two year run as the Head Women's Fencing Coach at Wagner College in Staten Island, N.Y. from 2018-2020. In addition to running the Seahawks' fencing team, Bartram also organized the first ever Brian Palestis Memorial Invitational tournament while at Wagner. Wagner also has experience as a fencing referee, as well being an Assistant Foil Coach at the Fencing Academy of Philadelphia while in high school.

A 2018 graduate of Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H., Bartram earned his Bachelor's of Arts Degree with a major in Physics. While a member of the Big Green, Bartram was a four year member of Dartmouth's club fencing team, which won the National Collegiate Club Championships in 2018. Bartram was inducted in Dartmouth's Hall of Fame along with the rest of the National Collegiate Club Championship team in 2025. Bartram also has a Master of Business Administration Degree with a major in Management from Wagner College. 

In his free time, Bartram runs a Youtube channel and website called 'The Foilist TV", where he provides commentary and analysis of high-level international foil fencing.
