Rob Charlton returns to Wellesley for his eleventh year as the assistant fencing coach at Wellesley College. 

Highlights of his athletes' results include 2nd place overall team finish, 2nd place team epée, gold medal individual women’s epée, gold medal team foil at New England Championships, 6th place finish at NCAA Regionals. 

Prior to Wellesley he was an assistant coach at Tufts University, including the 1998-99 season when Tufts was named the New England Collegiate Fencing Conference Coaching Staff of the year. In addition to his collegiate coaching, Rob has coached at Moe Fencing Club where he coached a Veteran 50+ National Team member (11th place at 2009 World Veteran Championships) and the 2009 Bay State Games Scholastic Boys epée champion. Additionally, he coached at Dana Hall, The Commonwealth School, and Zeta Fencing Studio.
