No. 3 Blue Crew Takes a Pair of Victories at William Smith

GENEVA, N.Y. — Wellesley College crew earned a pair of victories over William Smith College on Saturday morning on the Cayuga-Seneca Canal. 

In the first race of the morning, the Wellesley second varsity eight recorded a time of 7:26.22 to top the William Smith (7:37.23) second varsity eight by just over ten seconds. 

In the day's second race, the varsity eight established the pace early, as the Blue took a commanding win with a time of 7:03.00. William Smith's first varsity boat finished with a time of 7:17.94. 

Blue Crew is scheduled to return to action next Saturday on the Malden River. Wellesley will matchup with No. 9 Tufts, No. 2 Bates and No. 6 Wesleyan (Conn.) beginning at 9:00 AM.
