  • Crew's Lamy Earns All-America Honors; 10 Named National Scholar-Athletes

    Wellesley College crew student-athlete Jennifer Lamy led the Wellesley representaion on the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) post-season awards, being named to the Division III Pocock All-America Team. In addition to Lamy's honor, 10 team members were named CRCA National Scholar-Athletes.

    Simmons College will join the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) as an associate member in the sport of women's rowing, the league announced on Wednesday. Simmons will become the conference's seventh women's crew program and will compete in the NEWMAC championship beginning in 2013.
