    Three Wellesley College rowers earned recognition from the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) as announced on Monday. Wellesley senior Kate Spelman (Scituate, MA) was named to the All-America team, while Spelman, junior Hannah Woodruff (Longmeadow, MA) and sophomore Shernaz Dossabhoy (Belmont, MA) represented the Blue with national academic honors.

    Wellesley College crew was selected Tuesday afternoon to participate in the NCAA Division III National Rowing Championships to be held May 28-30 at Sacramento State Aquatic Center in Gold River, CA. The Blue, represented by the 1V and 2V boats, are one of only seven teams invited to the Championships, along with two at-large boats.

Blue head coach Tessa Spillane took home Coach of the Year honors, while the team received the annual NEWMAC Sportsmanship Award. Wellesley also had three student-athletes named to the All-Conference team.
