WELLESLEY, Mass. — Wellesley College cross country seniors Sonja Cwik (La Canada, Calif.) and Edie Sharon (Winchester, Mass.) have been honored as U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic selections for the 2016 cross country season. For Cwik, the award is the second of her collegiate career.

In addition, the Wellesley College cross country team was named to the USTFCCCA's list of All-Academic Teams in 2016. In total, there were 664 athletes (374 women, 290 men) who earned All-Academic mention from the USTFCCCA in NCAA Division III. To be named USTFCCA All-Academic, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) and finish in the top-25 percent at their respective regional.
