Twenty Wellesley Student-Athletes Named Academic All-Conference
The New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) has named twenty Wellesley College student-athletes to the Academic All-Conference Team for the fall. Eight cross country athletes received the honor, along with four from soccer, four from field hockey, two from tennis, and two from volleyball.

Wellesley College ended MIT’s undefeated season with a 27-25, 18-25, 25-15, 25-20 decision in a NEWMAC women’s volleyball match on Tuesday night. The Engineers saw their ledger move to 11-1 on the year and 2-1 in conference action while the Blue improved to 6-3 overall and 2-1 in the NEWMAC.
