The win improves the Blue to 5-8 overall, 3-1 in NEWMAC play. Smith falls to 7-6 overall, 2-3 in the NEWMAC. Both teams remain alive in the hunt for a NEWMAC playoff berth.

    Sophomore Brit Mscisz scored seven goals, leading the Wellesley College lacrosse team to a 22-14 victory over MIT in New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) action on Tuesday afternoon in Wellesley. The win lifts the Blue to 2-1 in the NEWMAC, 4-8 overall, while the Engineers dip to 0-3 in NEWMAC play, 2-9 overall.
