Captains

Team Captains are elected at different times for different sports.  Most teams elect captains for the next year at the end of their season.  Other teams elect captains immediately following tryouts at the beginning of the season.  Team captains are the formal leaders on the team and act as a liaison between the coach and the team.  They are positive role models who set an example for underclasswomen.

Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)

Wellesley's student-athlete advisory committee (SAAC) is a committee comprised of student-athletes assembled to provide insight on the student-athlete experience. All varsity sports are represented in the group.  SAAC offers input on the rules, regulations and polices that affect student-athletes' lives at Wellesley College.
